Cycling Advocates Ride to Pro Walk Pro Bike 2006

from Vancouver B.C. to Madison, Wisconsin

We left Ephrata at 9AM. Hwy28 was very quiet, just the way I like it. The road was rolling hills and it was hot. We stopped half way to use the shade of a covered hay storage shed. We arrived in Odessa about 3PM. Almost everything was closed on Mon & Tuesday. Odessa is famous for a large German festival in Sept, but there are no german restaurants here. The motel was kind of different. The room we had was painted like a kids bedroom with fantasy creatures on the walls.

I woke up at 6AM to the sound of coyotes howling.
