| Thank god it started very cool again. It took me over three hours to reach the peak at Steven’s Pass. I thought I was going to collapse before I got there. There is still a lot of traffic on #2. We rolled downhill for the next hour. Then rolling hills and mountain scenery. We detoured to go down Main Street in Leavenworth. It was extremely crowded and hot. They were having a weekend children’s festival. We decided to keep moving. We got to Wenatchee about 5PM, but got some bad directions to the hotel. It took 1 ½ hours to reach the hotel. | |||
