Cycling Advocates Ride to Pro Walk Pro Bike 2006

from Vancouver B.C. to Madison, Wisconsin

The first 40 km was on a nice smooth, quiet #34. Then 34 was closed for construction. We had to go north for 7 km and then go to Jackson on #14. The way thru Jackson was very confusing as none of the posted hiwy #’s matched our map. We finally had to to go north, uphill, cross I90 and then we found #34, which went back across I90. We stopped briefly at Fairmont, which was a nice town to cycle thru. The rest of the way was flat, but quite busy. Blue Earth is a pretty nice looking town as well.
