  It was so nice to ride a trail dedicated to cyclists, even if it was gravel. We were on this old railbed for 80km, to Hill City. It was very scenic with four tunnels and beautiful valleys. Check it out at www.mickelsontrail.com  
 

WE met some nice people, including Aaron, the trail monitor and Bob, who rode with us most of the way. When we arrived in Hill City, I noticed the unusual wide marking for parking stalls. The could have been room for a bike lane, but most vehicles parked about three feet from the curb!
