Cycling Advocates Ride to Pro Walk Pro Bike 2006

from Vancouver B.C. to Madison, Wisconsin

It was only a 50 km ride but we started early …. cooler, off course.
There were lots of long climbs so it took me quite a while to get there. We were surprised to see lots of antelope and deer grazing near the freeway. I guess this is where the deer and the antelope lay…ha ha. After check in, I patched some tubes and adjusted my brakes. Then we were directed to a nice walking/biking path the followed the river right through town. The downtown street had lots of bronze statues, and benches to just sit down. It had a nice feel to it.
