Cycling Advocates Ride to Pro Walk Pro Bike 2006

from Vancouver B.C. to Madison, Wisconsin

We wanted to be on the road by 7AM, but it took me an hour after discovering I had another flat rear tire. A piece of beer bottle glass was wedged in the tire. Must have gotten in on the bike lane in Missoula.

We made good time after that. It was cooler because of the violent thunderstorm that had hit the area last night. We stopped in Drummond for lunch. When we came out, Jack discovered his rear tire had a slow leak. We reached Deer Lodge by 4PM. It was a nice size town.. It is famous for it’s old Montana State Prison
