Thoughts for the Day

Seattle on a Sunny Day

Reflection of the Needle

A relaxing day. A sunny, autumn warm day. Tasks included changing motels and retrieving the bike and luggage from the train station.

Building apartments above a lane

A pleasant walk to Pike Market for some fresh cheese curds, fruit and bakery. Then a stroll down 1st Avenue. Stopped at a bike store to pick up a Seattle bike map and at the Bike Station for a King County bike map. A short ride to the motel and a walk later to a grocery store and that was the activity for the day.

Pike Market

There is something very pleasant about Seattle when it is sunny. 1st Avenue certainly has a community feeling to it.
