Opportunities for Enhancing the Trail

Signage - Destination, Direction

• Trail map and signage at western terminus of trail indicating connection with the Military Ridge State Park Trail

• Additional trail name signage along trail making cyclists more confident that they are on the right trail.

• Additional direction signage along trail where direction changes.

Intersection Design

• Trail should be level at intersections for at least one bike length, especially when stop signs on the trail.

Intersection Design - Signalized

• Some intersections needed to be signalized for trail crossing, recognizing the traffic volumes on the road.
